1. Privacy First (No Tracking)

MyCineMatch is built with a strict privacy-first approach. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or log in. We do not use tracking cookies, nor do we collect or store your search history on any external servers.

Your "Taste Profile" and search history are saved entirely locally on your own device's browser using localStorage.

2. Third-Party Data (TMDB)

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All movie, TV show, and actor data, including images and synopses, are provided by The Movie Database.

3. As-Is Service

MyCineMatch is provided as a free tool "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantees regarding the uptime of the application or the accuracy of the movie recommendations. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

4. Data Backup & Loss

Because your data is stored locally in your browser, clearing your browser data or cache may result in the loss of your Taste Profile. We provide a manual "Backup to TXT" feature within the app to help you save your data, but we are not responsible for lost profiles.
